Death
It is with extremely heavy hearts as we announce the passing of Rachel Ann Smith 50, deeply loved- Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin, and Friend to many. Rachel was born to Kindell and Juanita Briles on May 14, 1970 in Charlotte N.C. She moved to Muncie February 21,1993 and has been in Muncie/ Gaston Area till the Lord called her home early April 5, 2021.Rachel was a Homemaker and loved working in the yard, the garden, going fishing and spending time with her family especially her great nephews and nieces. Rachel was a beautiful, compassionate, down to earth good hearted woman. She loved the color purple and caring for her dog Jasmine. She had a very kind heart and her soft sweet smile and laugh will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memories include Son Richard Smith (Gaston), Ex-Husband Dwayne Smith (N.C.), Mother Juanita Briles (Muncie), two sisters, Faye Hannah husband Dennis (Muncie) and Bridget Gilley husband Daryl (Eaton), several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews along with many friends. She will never be forgotten and life will surely not be the same without her.
She is gone to join her Daddy, Brothers and other family members in Heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at Burlington Drive Freewill Baptist Church 1131 S Burlington Muncie, Saturday April 17th 4 to 5:15.
