Mrs. Virgie Mae Beck Hulin, 90, formerly of Thomasville and a resident of Mountain Vista Health Park died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Mt. Vista. She was born on October 29, 1926 in Davidson County, NC to Willie Roscoe Beck and Mary Lou Crouse Beck. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She spent her life in child care baby sitting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie Hulin on June 7, 1982, whom she married on December 7, 1941; two brothers; and seven sisters. Surviving is her daughter, Ann Eads and husband Richard of Thomasville; sons, Tommy Hulin and wife Patty of Thomasville and Jimmy Hulin of Lexington; one brother, Billy Beck of Lexington; three grandchildren, James Haney, Allen Hulin and wife Kelly, and Dwayne Hulin and wife Misty; six great-grandchildren, Zachary Haney and wife Laura, Lauren Moir and husband Anthony, Chris Hulin and wife Emily, Cody Hulin, Justin Hulin, and Brianna Hulin; and one great-great granddaughter, Waverly Haney. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Larry Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter, Ann.
