Lawrence Henry Eiynck, age 81, died quietly on July 16 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2002 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8:00 PM Thursday, and after 10:00 AM Friday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany. The Little Flower Mission Group and the St Joseph's Society will pray at 5:30 followed by Seven Dolors parish prayers at 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home in Albany.
Lawrence was born in St Rosa, Minnesota to John and Mary (Engelmeier) Eiynck. He married Marie Kerfeld on May 29, 1945 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport, Minnesota He was owner of Eiynck Plumbing and Heating in Albany until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the St. Joseph's Society.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, Albany; children, Carol (KC) Marrin, Cold Spring; Jim (Louise Smith), Becker, Colleen (Gary) Layne, St. Cloud; Sharon (Joseph Jr.) Stellmach, Sartell; and Sandra (Jeffrey) Janssen, St Cloud. He is also survived by his sisters, Irene Kolar, Woodbury and Alice Bredeck, Elk River and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clement and Lambert and his sister, Loretta Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to the Seven Dolors Building Fund.
