Funeral services will be on Monday, September 8, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Wilfred B. "Will" Kerfeld age 75 of St. Cloud who died Thursday, September 4, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Timothy Baltes will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Military rites will be provided by the St. Cloud Veteran of Foreign Wars Granite Post #428 and the Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post #428. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Will was born on July 22, 1928 in Melrose, Minnesota to Joseph and Bertha (Klasen) Kerfeld. He married Mary Ann Atkinson on July 19, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport, Minnesota. Will was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was self-employed in agriculture related sales. Will was a member of St. Paul's Parish, Knights of Columbus Council #5548, Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post #428, and a life member of the St. Cloud Veterans of Foreign Wars Granite Post #428.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann of St. Cloud; children, Bruce of Blue Springs, MO, Brian of Sioux Falls, SD and Cheryl of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rosemary Rolfes of Merrifield, Tony of Albany, Kathy Hellerman-Elfering of Melrose, Jim of Sauk Centre, Dick of Merrifield, Bernie Ostendorf of St. Cloud, and Ann Hiltner of Cold Spring.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph.
Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
