Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, North Prairie, for Susan Janski, 101, of 520 First St. NE, who died Tuesday at Roseville Good Samaritan Center, Roseville.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and one hour before services Thursday at the church in North Prairie. Holy Cross Christian Mothers will pray at 5 followed by parish prayers at 6 tonight at the church in North Prairie. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.
Susan Janski was born in Royalton to Frank and Anna (Schlichting) Kalis. She married Roman Janski on Oct. 16, 1916, in Royalton. She lived most of her life in the St. Cloud area. She was a homemaker and a cook at Kay's Cafe, St. Cloud. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Holy Cross Christian Mothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Marcella Mrosla and Lorraine Sobania of Roseville; sisters and brother, Eleanor Kroll of Little Falls, Cordilia Prokett of Royalton and Frank of Bowlus; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aug. 25, 1931; sons, Jerome and Leo; sisters and brother, Margaret Postrick, Martha Zack, Helen Billig and John; and two great-great-granddaughters.
