Funeral services will be on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Brandon J. Hoppe age 19 of Paynesville who died Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the Albany Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Reverend Richard Leisen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Parish Cemetery in Paynesville.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Parish prayers will be at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home in Paynesville.
Brandon was born on September 19, 1983 in Paynesville, Minnesota to Allan and Lucy (Gottwald) Hoppe. He was a 2003 graduate of the Paynesville Area High School. Brandon enjoyed the outdoors, especially farming and fishing. He was a fun loving guy and will be missed by his family and friends. Brandon was a member of St. Louis Parish.
Survivors include his mother, Lucy; his father, Allan and his wife Linda; brothers and sister, Shawn, Corey, Dustin, and Maggie; one niece, Kelsea; grandparents, Phil and Margot Gottwald all of Paynesville; and grandmother, Lorraine Hoppe of New Munich.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benedict Hoppe.
Arrangements were by the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville.
