Dear Sis, Aug. & kiddies
Chuck is writing so I'll scibble a line. He takes care of the finiancial affairs here so I don't know how he stands, but we can & will help Mom but she doesn't want it from her children as its a state law that at certain age one recieve help and that is what she has been trying to get. We have owed you folks a letter for some time but seens we are always busy. Harvesting now, grain is good quality but not much of it. feed & corn are nice & sure had nice rains. Our garden is best I've ever raised, & potatoes are good soon start to rise them. Have just 150 chickens & only lost 4 of them they are 2 months old now soon have f_____ (austria whites.) How's the kiddies, Mickey sure growing sending some snap shots, you can keep what you'd like, took then Mothers day, have some taken later but not develped yet. I've been Dying again but have lost 18 lbs since Easter, so maybe feel little better. Chuck's always feeling well, a headacke once in awhile & thats all. Well its 10:30 & so to bed as up early. Willis & Iky are helping us & do we ever eat. Did Mom tell you we have bottle gas Servall refrigidaire, sure nice & we enjoy it ____ hot, well nite & I'll write more later--June
