Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church for Adelinde Kulzer, 94, who died Sunday at St. Michael's Nursing Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sauk Centre. Senior Citizens will pray at 4 followed by Christian Mothers and Catholic Aid rosary at 4:30 and parish prayers at 8 tonight at the church in Sauk Centre. Arrangements were made by Roy-Hetland Funeral Home, Osakis.
Adelinde Kulzer was born near New Munich to Gerhard and Kathrine (Dobmeier) Terhaar. She married Roman C. Kulzer in New Munich when she was 23. The couple farmed near Spring Hill until 1940, when they moved to a farm in rural Sauk Centre. They continued farming for another 30 years before retiring and moving to Sauk Centre. She did custom seamstress work for J.C. Penney Co. and Strauss Clothing Co. She later did sewing and alterations out of her home, including sewing priests' vestments. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Confraternity, Jolly Go-Getters Seniors of Sauk Centre, St. Paul Catholic Aid and St. Margaret's Mission group.
Survivors include her sons and daughters, Elsie Bromenshenkel, Roman, Janet and Allen of Sauk Centre, Sister Mary Blase, OSF, of Little Falls, Annella Clasemann of Long Prairie, Marina Blackwood of Flower Mound, Texas, Kathleen Angus of Wadena, and David of Rochester; 37 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, on Dec. 24, 1996; grandson, Walter Bromenshenkel; and brothers, Alex and Raymond.
