Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for William M. Ahles, 82, who died Wednesday at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center.Burial will be in St. Anne's Parish Cemetery, Kimball. Friends may call an hour before services Saturday at the church in Kimball. Arrangements were made by Koop Funeral Home.
William Ahles was born in St. Cloud to William and Louise (Yager) Ahles. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Myrin James American Legion Post 443 of Ironton. He was an employee of the Crosby Hardware Store and Bye's Cable TV, Crosby.
Survivors include his sister, Magdeline Koltes of Cold Spring.He also leaves behind longtime companion, Agnes Davis of Crosby.
