Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church for Elmer J. Fuchs, 86, who died Monday at Koronis Manor.
Burial will be in St. Margaret's Catholic Cemetery, Lake Henry.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home, Paynesville, and one hour before services Saturday at the church. Daughters of Isabella will pray at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by parish prayers at 7 and Catholic Order of Foresters at 8.
Elmer Fuchs was born in Lake Henry to Paul and Mary (Hemmesch) Fuchs. He married Bernalda Vogt on Sept. 29, 1942. She died July 23, 1971. He married Margaret Hartman on Oct. 12, 1974, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Cloud. He farmed near Lake Henry most of his life. He had been a resident of Paynesville since 1984. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include his wife; children, Doris Frey of St. Cloud; two grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alphonse, Othmar, Ervin.
Memorials are preferred to the Tribute and Memorial Scholarship Fund at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
