Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sauk Centre, for Adelaide S. Jung, 95, formerly of Sauk Centre, who died Saturday at Koronis Manor.Interment will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. Christian Mothers will pray at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home in Sauk Centre followed by parish prayers at 8.
Adelaide Jung was born in Melrose to Mathias and Elizabeth (Roeder) Nathe. She moved to Sauk Centre in 1907 and later was employed by Morse Real Estate. She married Walter Jung on June 11, 1929, in St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. In 1989, she moved to 700 Stearns Place retirement apartments in Paynesville and, since 1992, had been a resident of Koronis Manor. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre, Christian Mothers and St. Michael's Hospital volunteers.
Survivors include son and daughter, Robert of Paynesville, and Norene Stallworth of Knoxville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Clarence of Sauk Centre.She was preceded in death by her husband, April 21, 1976; and sister and brothers, Julianna Schwartz, Al, Rudy, Norb and Ed.
