Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Dorothy M. Molitor, age 85, who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. The St. Boniface Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the Wenner Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born in Chokio, MN to Clem and Dora (Adams) Bachel. She married Alphonse M. Molitor on October 14, 1943 in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Rockville, MN. Dorothy liked flowers, riding the golf cart around the farm, her dogs, word puzzles, knick knacks especially salt and pepper shakers, outdoor lawn ornaments and music. Visiting with her family and friends, always brought a smile to her face. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish.
Survivors include her children, Rich (Lucy), Roger, Chuck (Sharon), Darlene Molitor (Glen Vannurden) and Dale (Kimmy); 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse (1996); brothers, Donald, David, Robert and Alvin; sister, Helen Lipinski.
