Ernest J. "Buddy" Storch

STORCH, Ernest J., "Buddy," 76, of San Antonio, Fla, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A life long resident of San Antonio, Fla., he was a Veteran of the Korean conflict and returned to San Antonio in 1953. He was a carpenter by trade and attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was also a member of the Dade City Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Storch of San Antonio, Fla.; two sons, Ernest J. Storch, Jr. "EJ" (Stephanie) of San Diego, Calif., and Michael Storch (Jannece) of Moon Lake, Fla.; a step-son, David Adams (Faye) of Palm Bay, Fla.; two brothers, Edward Storch (Sophie) and Eugene "Sonny" Storch, both of San Antonio, Fla.; a sister, Stella Barthle of St. Joe; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Morgan, and by a step-son, Richard Adams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5th Street Chapel 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, June 5, 2006, with Father Henry Riffle as celebrant. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in San Antonio, Fla.
