Joined her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2013. She was born in Fergus Falls, MN on March 3, 1925 and lived in North Dakota until 1972 when she moved to AZ.
She joins her husband, Norbert Nathe (1996) and daughter, Connie Nathe (2009) in God's Kingdom.
She was a devoted and tireless mother and is survived by five children, Tim (Sandy) Nathe of MN, Tom Nathe of MI, Carol (Doug) Massie, Cathy Nathe and Carla Nathe all of Tucson; she has four grandchildren, Kevin (Amy), Tana (Kevin), Robert (Tiffany) and Amy; her five great-grandchildren, Bea, Noah, Greta, Landon and Chance. Verna was active in her church and enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, June 28, 2013 at New Spirit Lutheran Church, 8701 E. Old Spanish Trail. Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
