Jeanette Nora Blaske

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Jeanette N. Nathe, age 91, of St. Cloud who passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Alan Wielinski will officiate. Burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Meire Grove, Minnesota. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Jeanette was born on June 29, 1919 in Gilmanton Township, Benton County, Minnesota to Henry and Augusta (Bartosiewski) Blaske. She married George V. Nathe on March 9, 1937. He died in January, 1980. She later married Robert J. Koshiol on October 10, 1986 in Waite Park. He passed away in January, 1997. Jeanette lived in the St. Cloud area since 1980 where she was a member of St. Joseph's in Waite Park and later St. Paul's Catholic Churches, Christian Women, St. Cloud V.F.W. Post #428 Auxiliary, Waite Park American Legion Unit #428 Auxiliary, Crosier Apostolate, and the Oblates of St. Benedict. Throughout her life she enjoyed singing, dancing, sewing, reading and baking. Jeanette also loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Margaret Palmer of Milaca, Donna (Ron) Nathe-Neuman of Milaca, Donald (Alice) of Zimmerman, George Jr. of St. Cloud, John (Bonnie) of Columbia Heights, Janet (Roger) Kaproth of St. Cloud, Jane Hieb of Wadena, Judy (Brant) Rhodes of Foley, Gloria (Dwight) Beehler of St. Cloud, Ken of Backus, Joel of St. Cloud, Kate Olson of Eagan, and Karen Anderson of Wadena; 34 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; daughter in law, Joan Nathe; sister, Lucille McClain; sisters in law, Nellie Blaske, Lenora Brede; five stepsons and their children and grandchildren.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her two husbands; son, Richard; sons in law, Paul Palmer and Don Otkin; daughter in law, Jackie Nathe; and eight brothers and sisters.
