Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church for Ann M. Woeste, 95, who died Monday at Albany Area Hospital. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. Sauk Centre Seniors will pray at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Sauk Centre, followed by Christian Mothers at 5 and parish prayers at 8.
Ann Woeste was born in Sauk Centre to Adam and Lena (Knott) Orth. She graduated from teachers training and taught school for a number of years. She married Victor Woeste on May 17, 1950, in Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Sauk Centre. The couple farmed in Melrose Township until retiring in 1969, and moved to Sauk Centre. Since 1992, she had resided at Riverview Manor. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Sauk Centre Seniors.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nov. 13, 1979; and sisters, Frances Hansen, Mabel Otto, Margie Theisen, Grace Miller and Elvina Vener.
