Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, at St. Augustines Catholic Church for Cecilia K. Ducky Kosloske, age 100, of St. Cloud, who died January 21, 2009, at the St. Cloud Hospital. The Reverend Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sauk Rapids. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday (TODAY) at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. Augustines Christian Women will pray at 4:30 PM on Friday, at the Funeral Home.
Cecilia was born on August 25, 1908 in Watkins, MN, to Anton and Mary (Loesch) Dockendorf. She married Carl Kosloske on September 2, 1929. They owned and worked together operating Carls Super Market in East St. Cloud for many years. Cecilia enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her summer home at Little Rock Lake. She was a member of St. Augustines parish, Christian Women, and Daughters of Isabella.
Cecilia is survived by: daughters, Beverly DeBode of Texas, Sharon (Don) Peterson of Illinois; daughter in law Lorraine Kosloske of Little Rock Lake; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl, sons Jerome and Tommy, and three sisters and four brothers.
