Mary K. Feldewerd, 43, of Albany died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church, Holdingford at 11 AM on Monday, January 5, 2009. Friends and family may call at St. Marys Catholic Church on Sunday, January 4th from 4-8 PM and after 10 AM prior to the service on Monday. Christian Mothers will pray the Rosary at 6PM followed by Parish Prayers at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Holdingford.
Mary was born December 22, 1965 to Roger F. and Marcy M. (Blenker) Schmidt of Holdingford. She married Steve Feldewerd on April 5, 1986. Mary was a homemaker and raised three children. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. Mary enjoyed being a small group leader for confirmation and helping any one in need. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, reading and Sudoku puzzles.
Mary is survived by Steve Feldewerd, children; Christopher, Meghan and Travis Feldewerd, parents; siblings; John (Lisa) Schmidt, Cindy (Brian) Bartholomew and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorials are preferred to the Mary Feldewerd Trust, care of the Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union, 641 Railroad Avenue, PO Box 339, Albany, MN 56307.
