Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2008 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Jean A. Kirchner, age 93, who died Friday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the church Monday morning. Arrangements were entrusted with the Wenner Funeral Home, Richmond.
Jean was born in Laporte, MN to Walter and Anna (Johnson) Waltzing. She enjoyed playing cards (500 and Solitaire), embroidery, hunting, fishing and reading Western novels. Jean had two sons from her first marriage, their first names are Dwayne and Michael; last names unknown.
Survivors include her conservator and friend, Jan Zumwalde along with other friends and the staff at Koronis Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Anselm Kirchner.
