Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday in the St. Martin Church. Arrangements with the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.
Julia was born in Freeport to Henry and Mary (Schenk) Bueckers. She married George Pung on May 7, 1935 in Freeport, MN. George died in 1954. She married Alois Spanier in 1964 in St. John's Cantius Church in St. Cloud. Julia was a member of St. Martin Church and the Christian Women.
Survivors include her children, Victor (Jan) of Roseville, Jim (Jan) of Minneapolis, Ken (Mary) of Albertville, Rosemary (Joel) Peterson of Burnsville, Joe (Vicki) of Stanchfield, Kathleen (Ken) Hennen of Richmond, Eunice (Bruce) Swanson of Prescott, WI and Edwin (Cherie) of Lakeville; brothers, Al Bueckers of Sauk Rapids and Lawrence Bueckers of Spokane, WA; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Pung and Alois Spanier; son, Arnie and daughter, Carol Ann; brothers, Rudy, Tony and Phillip and sister, Mary.
