DILKS, JOHN ``JACK,`` 58, of San Antonio, died Monday (July 10, 1989) at Humana Hospital Pasco, Dade City. Born in Somer Point, N.J., he came here 15 years ago from Miami and was a retired ICBM missile maintenance technician for the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, life member of the Disabled American Veterans, member of Commander Gordon M. Carothers Post 15 American Legion, 4th degree Knights of Columbus, past Grand Knight 1st Degree Knights of Columbus, and the East Pasco and RACES Amateur Radio Club.
Survivors include his wife, Rita M.; a son, John Jr., Tallahassee, three daughters, Beverly Connor, Pinellas Park, Charlotte Barthle, St. Joseph, and Sandra Dilks, Orlando; four brothers, Herbert, Franklinville, N.J., Charles, Brigantine, N.J., George, Fayetteville, Ark., and Melvin, Dade City; and four granddaughters. Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, Dade City.
