The funeral for Mrs. Henry Bitz, 86, long-time resident of Anamoose, ND, will be there at 1:30 Monday in Anamoose Baptist Church. She died Friday.
Minnei (sic) Frueh was born Nov. 23, 1888 in Russia and came to this country in 1900, settling first in SD. She came to the Harvey, ND, area in 1901. She was married at Anamoose July 14, 1907 to Henry Bitz and they farmed at Anamoose until 1919, when they moved into town. He died in 62 and in 1972 she moved to a nursing home in Steele, ND.
She leaves 2 sons and 4 daughters, Milton, Grey Eagle, MN; Erwin, Bismarck, ND; Mrs. Anna Stohler, San Bernadino, CA; Mrs. Clarence (Alma) King, Jamestown, ND; Mrs. Edna Falk, Scottsdale, AZ; Mrs. Ed (Ella) Hauser, Mandan, ND; 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
