Shirley Ann Braasch, 72, of Sauk Rapids, MN was called home on August 2, 2008 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who cherished and nurtured those relationships. She was spirited, vivacious and lived life to the fullest. Where Shirley went, love and laughter followed and we thank God for loaning her to us.
Shirley is survived by daughters, Rebecca Braasch (Kevin Koski) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Catherine Diesem of Sauk Rapids, MN; grandson, Ryan Diesem of St. Paul, MN; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Braasch and family of Peoria, IL; sisters, Carole (Ernest) Gaas, Janice Post and Sharon Tellers and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Edmund and Pauline Arseneau; son, Lanny Lee Braasch; brothers, Donald, Gerald and Thomas, and brother-in-law, William Post.
Visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service and luncheon in honor of Shirley and her son Lanny Lee, on Friday, August 8, 2008 at Salem Lutheran Church, 90 Riverside Dr. SE, St. Cloud, MN 56304.
