Michael W. Hays, age 8, of Faribault, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 8, 2008 due to a cerebral hemorrhage at St. Paul Children's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at First English Lutheran church, Faribault on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Richard L. Jorgensen officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.
Michael William was born August 16, 1999 in Faribault, the son of Tammy Hays-Southward and Kelly Linn. He attended McKinley Elementary School, Owatonna and the last year at Jefferson Elementary School, Faribault where he completed the 2nd. Grade. He enjoyed playing soft pitch, soccer, skateboarding, bowling, trampoline, and swimming. Michael loved being with his friends and talking on his cell phone. He was very active, loved life and everyone loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Tammy Hays-Southworth, Faribault; father, Kelly Linn; half brother, Easton, Sauk Centre; grandparents, Ralph and Sharon Linn, Albany, and Janice Linn, Melrose; great grandparents, Art and Adeline Sabrowsky, Melrose; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the area.
