Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic CHurch for Arthur W. Hommerding, 73, who died Tuesday at St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arthur Hommerding was born in Eden Valley to George and Margaret (Dahm) Hommerding. He married Catherine Blonigen on Feb. 7, 1950, at St. Martin Catholic Church. He retired from Frigidaire in 1990. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; children, Diana Leyk, Alcuin, Delphine Fiero and Andrew of St. Cloud, Doris, Artie, Doreen Schneider, Debbie Schlangen and Denice McKenzie of Cold Spring, and Alvin of Sao Paulo, Brazil; brothers and sister, Alfred of Watkins, Mary Jane Theisen of St. Cloud, and Harold of Avon; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
