Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church for Hildegard D. Stein, age 86, who died Tuesday at the Assumption Nursing Home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring. Senior Citizens and Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m., and parish prayers will be at 8 p.m.
Hilda was born in Richmond to Joseph and Mary (Dseisenreiter) Eisenschenk. She married Daniel F. Stein on October 17, 1939 in St. Martin. She was a member of Christian Women, and the Minnesota Rural Artists Association.
Survivors include her children; Mary (Jerry Shea) Sullivan, Cambria, CA, LaVern Farley, Van Nuys, CA, Tim (Janet), Cold Spring, Dorothy (David) Rausch, Cold Spring, Ron (Pinky), Minot, ND, Dan (Kasi), Cold Spring, Ann (Mike) Forner, Cold Spring; 24 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband (February 16, 1975); grandchildren, Jason Farley, Brian Rausch; son-in-law, Ken Farley; brothers & sisters, Liz Sauer, Tony, Maggie Jacobs, Alphonse, Ben, Pete, Louie, Melvin, and Evelyn Ehresmann.
