Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Williams Funeral Home in ST CLOUD for James M. Clancy who died on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Albany Hospital. Reverend Blane Wasnie, OSB will officiate. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the services on Sunday.
James was born to the late Paul and Blanche (Kirkendall) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He married Jeanette Blonigen and they later divorced. James was the owner of Midwest Collection Service. Ten years ago James began writing and was the author of four fictional Marine Corps stories. He was a member of American Legion in Avon and an associate member of Avon Lions Club.
He is survived by children, Patrick and Mollie both of Minneapolis; sisters, Rosemary and Bob Goff of Brainerd and Marilyn and Bill Bierden of Eden Prairie; and step-daughters, Greta and Samantha.
