Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Nancie R. Meyer, age 41, of Richmond, who died Thursday at her home. Rev. Virgil Braun will officiate and burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, Eden Valley. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann's Eden Valley Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Nancie was born Dec. 24, 1966 in Paynesville to Marvin & Mary Carol (Stemmer) Tessmer. She married Terry Meyer on April 25, 1987 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Eden Valley. Nancie lived in the Richmond area all her life and was an Information Systems Secretary for the Meeker County Sheriff's Department. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. Nancie enjoyed crafting, deer hunting, fishing, flower gardens, and collecting antiques.
Survivors include her husband, Terry of Richmond; daughter and son, Ashley of St. Cloud and Jeremy of Richmond; parents, Marvin & Mary Carol Tessmer of Richmond; brother and sisters, Daniel (Mary) Tessmer of Richmond, Colleen (Jerry) Gruenes of Richmond, and Janice (Joe) Limon of Rio Rancho, NM; and mother-in-law, Kathleen Meyer of Cold Spring.
Nancie was preceded in death by her grandparents; and father-in-law, Linus Meyer.
