Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday August 26th, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta for Robert John Lommel, age 65, formerly of Rockville and East St. Cloud, who died on Tuesday at the Annandale Care Center in Annandale. Rev. Robert Rolfes will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (TODAY) between 4:00-9:00 PM and on Thursday after 8:30 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 PM.
Robert was born May 2nd, 1939 in Rockville Township, to John and Helen (Walz) Lommel. He farmed on the family farm most of his life.
Survivors: brothers and sisters; Helen Waltzing (Lawrence), Kimball, Bernard Lommel (Charlotte), St. Cloud, Jerome Lommel (Rosie), St. Joseph, Diane Kenning (Joseph) St. Augusta, Donald Lommel (Sharon), Clear Lake, Kenneth Lommel (Karen), St. Cloud, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
