Catherine Geise, 87, of Upsala, formerly of Freeport, died Monday, March 24, 2003, at St. Benedict's Care Center in St. Cloud. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony.
Catherine is survived by her children, Mary Ann Gerads of St. Cloud, Elmer (Mary) Geise of Little Falls, Bernard (Lucille) Geise of Bowlus, Gerald (Mary Ann) Geise of Richmond, Marilyn (Don) Zutz of Royalton, and Sylvester (Mary) Geise of Freeport; sisters, Verena Koopmeiners of Upsala, Winnifred Koopmeiners of New Munich, Evelyn Overman of Waite Park, Eileen Sand of Avon, and Annella Borgerding of St. Cloud; 37 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; granddaughter, Sharon Runge; brothers, Alfred and Ervin Roering, and sister, Leona Dufner. Arrangements were made with Shelley Funeral Chapel of Upsala.
