Tina M. Spehn, age 36 of Brooklyn Park, formerly of Sauk Centre, died suddenly Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 22, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. James Statz officiated with interment following in Calvary Cemetery.
Tina Spehn was born March 5, 1970, in Sauk Centre, to LaVerne and Erna (Langwasser) Spehn. She attended Sauk Centre High School and was currently residing in Brooklyn Park.
Tina enjoyed spending time with her family, spending time outdoors and working with her friends at the activity center.
Survivors include her parents, LaVerne and Erna Spehn of Sauk Centre; sisters and brother, Evelyn Ladd (Steven) of Palisade, Rosemary Primus (Raymond) of Melrose and Thomas Spehn (Renae) of New Brighton; nine nieces and nephews, Steve, Kevin and Megan Ladd, Amanda and Andrew Primus, Patrick, Evan, Mackenzie and Kaitlyn Spehn; and her group home family in Brooklyn Park.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Serving as casket bearers were Steve, Kevin and Megan Ladd, Amanda and Andrew Primus and Patrick Spehn. Cross bearer was Evan Spehn. Honorary bearers were Mackenzie and Kaitlyn Spehn, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schmitt, her godparents. Tina's kind heart and infectious smile will continue to inspire us all. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
