Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church for Frances I. Worms, 77, who died Friday at Koronis Manor, Paynesville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home, Sauk Centre. Greenwald Christian Mothers, Daughters of Isabella and Catholic Aid Society will pray at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Sauk Centre, followed by parish prayers at 8.
Frances Worms was born in Lake Henry to Joseph and Theresa (Hemmesch) Lieser. She married Raymond Worms on Oct. 18, 1943, in St. Louis Catholic Church, Paynesville. The couple farmed south of Greenwald until retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Greenwald, Greenwald Christian Mothers, Catholic Aid Society and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include her husband; daughters and sons, Margie Illies of Belgrade, Celine Fischer of Paynesville, Mary Kay Funk of New Munich, Ruth Rothstein of St. Martin, Brenda Breitbach of Elrosa, Amy Reinarts of Ramsey, Julie Imdieke of St. Cloud, and Robert and Joe of Greenwald; brother and sisters, Bernard of St. Martin, Sister Petronella OSB of Cottonwood, Idaho, and Sister Mary Bernard OSB of Lewiston, Idaho; 33 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Katherine Mandernach, Molly Stang, Sister Josephine, Berthold, Alfred and Roman.
