Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Tuesday December 4, 2007 at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Cloud for LeRoy J. Springer, 54 of St. Cloud who died Friday at his home. The Rev. Bernard Gruenes will officiate and burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Sauk Rapids. Friends may call from 4-9PM Monday at the Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the church in St. Cloud. St. Michael Parish prayers will be at 5PM Monday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
LeRoy was born March 8, 1953 in St. Cloud to Anthony & Veronica (Maus) Springer. He married Shirley Benoit on September 16, 1972 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. He has lived in St. Cloud his entire life and worked as a locksmith for Security Locksmith in St. Cloud from 1975 to the present. LeRoy will be remembered for his uncanny wit and affection for automobiles.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of St. Cloud; sons, Joseph (Heather) of Richfield; Kevin and his fiancee (Nicole Henre) of St. Cloud; Adam of St. Cloud; and granddaughter, Brooke of St. Cloud. He is preceded in death by his parents.
