NIKOLAI, GEORGE WASHINGTON, 82, of Dade City, died Wednesday (July 29, 1992) at Humana Hospital Pasco. He came here 73 years ago from his native Mellen, Wis. He was the co-owner and operator of Pasco Lumber Co., the secretary of First Federal of Pasco County, and secretary of Florida Federal Savings, Dade City. He was a member of St. Rita's Church, an Army veteran of World War II, and a life member and past commander of American Legion Post 15. He was a Fourth-Degree Knight of Columbus, a member and past president of the Dade City Kiwanis Club, and past president of the Florida Pioneer Museum. He received the governor's award for his work with Local Committee 100. Survivors include his wife, Matilda; and a brother, Werner, Dade City. Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, Dade City.
