On Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, Jerome Meyer, age 83, of Pearl River, LA, passed away. He was a retired inspector with N.A.S.A. and a WWII Veteran who served in the United States Army/Air Corp. He was the husband of Evelyn Meyer, Father of Lynn Meyer and Linda Murphy.
Mr. Meyer is also survived by a brother, Lee Meyer, a sister, Irene Ophoven, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 1 grandchild and his parents, Valentine & Margaret Meyer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Spur Hwy. 41, Pearl River, LA. Visitation on Tues., from 6-9 p.m. at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River, LA. and on Wednesday at the church from 9-11 a.m. Mr. Meyer will be cremated and his remains will be interred at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pierz, MN.
