A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at St. Mary's Cathedral Lower Church in St. Cloud for Elizabeth G. "Betty" Loehr, age 92, of St. Cloud who died on Monday, December 4, 2006 at the Ruth Memory Home at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud. Reverend Steven Binsfeld will officiate. Entombment was in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud. Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Betty was born on October 12, 1914 in Spring Hill, MN to Peter and Gertrude (Hieserich) Loehr. She was the owner of Delux Beauty Salon in St. Cloud for many years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, Crosier Apostolate and Daughters of Isabella.
Betty is survived by her sister Edwina Konewko of Sauk Rapids, brother Arthur Loehr of Spring Hill and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Arnold and August Loehr, sisters Martha Athmann, Adelle Brownell, Eleanor Kleinschmidt, Rosina Loehr and one infant brother. Memorials are preferred to the St. Benedict's Senior Community and St. Mary's Cathedral. The family of Betty would like to gratefully thank the staff at Benedict Homes and Benedict Court for the care she received while a resident.
