The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Elizabeth Obermiller, age 101 of Albany, will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 15 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:00 AM Friday until the time of service at the church in Albany. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany.

Elizabeth was born October 1, 1905 in Albany to August and Katherine (Ewertowsky) Sadlowsky. She lived in Albany her entire life. She married Carl Obermiller on January 20, 1931. The couple farmed in Albany for many years before retirement. Lizzie was a member of Christian Mothers and the St. Ann's Society for 63 years. Lizzie and Carl had no children but Lizzie loved mothering her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a kind gentle lady who enjoyed gardening, especially her raspberry's which she used for her wonderful wine. Lizzie also had a love for animals, caring for many pets. Elizabeth was a homemaker and she was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Seven Dolors Christian Mothers and Catholic Aid.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Helen Burg, Minneapolis; her sister-in-law, Dora Sadlowsky and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, her brothers, Leonard Sadlowsky, Albert Sadlowsky and John Sadlowsky and her sisters, Rose Miller, Marie Petersen and Katherine Pieri.
