Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 19th at 10:30 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill for Ludwina C. Winter, age 85, of Spring Hill, who died on Tuesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Rev. Leo Leisen and Rev. Eberhard Schefers will concelebrate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday between 4-9 PM at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and on Friday one hour prior to services at the church. St. Mary's Mission Group and the Christian Mothers will pray at 7:00 PM followed by the Parish Prayers at 8:00 PM.
Ludwina was born May 31st, 1918 in Farming to Gerhard and Barbara (Schaefer) Ramler. She married Ervin C. Winter on September 30th 1941 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Farming. She farmed near Spring Hill most of her married life. She was a member of St. Mary's Mission Group, Christian Mothers, and St. Michael's Catholic Church of Spring Hill.
Survivors: her husband, Ervin, children, Michael Winter (Sharon): Roscoe, Adeline Boucher (Bill); Rockville, Mary Kotz (Butch); Belgrade, Ruth Larson (Steve); Litchville, ND, Dan Winter (Terri); Spring Hill, Tim Winter; Minneapolis, Bill Winter; Tracy, Iowa 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, Josephine Beagles; Seattle Washington
She was preceded in death by one daughter Rita Winter, one son Joseph Winter, one brother Peter Ramler, and one sister Sophie Prokosch.
Memorials are preferred.
