Thomas W. Clemens of Edmonds, WA died August 16, 2005 at the age of 79. The son of Pierre and Mary Cline Clemens, he was born July 28, 1926 in Fargo, ND. He served in the Army at the end of World War II and in the Korean War. He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company from 1948 until 1988. He had a great love of sports and the arts.
Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Brown Clemens; daughters Leslie Brents (Edward Watts), Barbara Weber (Bill), Nancy J. Clemens (Paul Beck), and Lisa Mitchell (Rick); grandchildren Brendan Watts and Thomas Weber; sisters Ruth Ure and Winnifred Boese; brother William E. Clemens; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Ave. N., in Edmonds. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Catholic Community Services, Catholic Youth Organization, or the Mountlake Terrace Food Bank.
