Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2003 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roscoe, MN for Rosetta L. Leyendecker, age 83, who died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday and from 9-10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. The National Catholic Society of Foresters of Richmond will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
Rosetta was born in Wakefield Township to John and Susan (Fuchs) Braegelmann. She married Paul A. Leyendecker on September 30, 1946 in Richmond. Rosetta worked as textile worker for Conwed of Cloquet, MN for many years. She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters of Richmond.
Survivors include her children, Suzie (Duane) Friedrich of St. Cloud, Fred of West Palm Beach, FL, Marion of Tuscon, AZ; brothers and sisters, Harold, Alvin, Alverna Rausch, Edwald, Bernadine Wolbeck, Alfred, Eugene, Ione Breth, Ralph, Theresa Friedrich, Gerhard, Juletta Bromenschenkel, Cecillia Boland, and grandchildren, John and Jennifer Friedrich, Geralyn and Randy Leyendecker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, John, and brothers, John Jr. and Wilfred.
