KELLEY, RICHARD S., 82, of Durant, died Thursday (Sept. 11, 1997) at home.
A Florida native, he was born in Lake Butler and had lived his life in the Tampa area. He was a farmer and retired in 1980 from Hav-a-Tampa Cigar Co., where he was a mechanic for 20 years.
He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include a companion, Mila Veck, Bloomingdale; three sons, Steve and Charles R., both of Dover, and Albert, Lakeland; three daughters, Julia Fuller, Duncan, S.C., Marie Romack, Lakeland, and Helen Borgwardt; two brothers, Emory, Lutz and Chavis, Tampa; two sisters, Jewell Dickson, Brandon, and Nettie Lou Gude, Dade City; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
