Helen Marx

Helen G. Bieringer, age 94 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 24, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider and Rev. Sylvester Kleinschmidt were concelebrants. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
Helen Bieringer was born on May 23, 1912, to Henry and Susan (Lenars) Marx in Collegeville Township, Stearns County. On Nov. 27, 1934, she was united in marriage to Carl Bieringer at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. They farmed in Raymond Township until moving into Sauk Centre in 1966. Helen volunteered at the Senior Dining center and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Helen loved gardening, baking, cooking and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Marie (Joseph) Weinmann of Belgrade, Alice Winters of Andover, Anthony (Cecelia) Bieringer of Long Prairie, Betty Jane Felling of Belgrade, Larry (Helen) Bieringer of Eden Prairie and Donald (Niyada) Bieringer of Sauk Centre; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brother, Albert (Winifred) Marx of Proctor.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Bieringer on July 7, 1995; son-in-law, Gary Felling; brothers, Robert, Lambert, Frank and Leo Marx; and sisters, Loraine Rachac and Eleanor Hengemuhle.
Serving as casket bearers were Bruce, Bryan, Mark and Gary Felling, Steven, Patrick and Paul Winters, Mike and Pat Bieringer, Todd and Tom Weinmann. Cross bearer was Melissa Leen and scripture bearer was Sarah Weinmann Sandhu. Honorary bearers included Veronica VanHavermaet, the St. Michael's Nursing Home Staff and the St. Paul's Christian Mothers. Serving as gift bearers were Mary Beth Meyer and Brenda Gasser. Todd Weinmann was lector. Funeral Arrangements were with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services, Sauk Centre.
