The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Sylvia A. Stoermann, age 70 of Holdingford will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holdingford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Sylvia died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. There will be a visitation from 4-9:00 PM Tuesday evening and again after 10:00 AM until the time of service Wednesday morning at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford. St. Mary's Christian Mothers will pray at 5:00 PM and St. Mary's parish prayers will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday night at the funeral home in Holdingford.
Sylvia was born December 14, 1936 in Holdingford to Hubert and Mary Magdalene (Dullinger) Fink. She married Robert Stoermann on August 23, 1956 in Holdingford. She spent all her life in the Holdingford area. Sylvia worked as a Para-professional/teachers aid in the Holdingford Schools for over 35 years, retiring in the fall of 2006. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the St. Mary's Christian Mothers.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Stoermann, Holdingford; her children; Sharon (Ron) Stanoch, Holdingford; Sandy (Ron) Kierzek, Avon; Tom (Danette) Stoermann, Albany; Nancy (Doug) Paggen, Holdingford; Steven Stoermann, Holdingford and Julie (Steve) Notsch, St. Joseph.
She is also survived by her sister, Cathy (Rodney) Adolph, Holdingford; her brother, Dan Fink, Monticello; and grandchildren, Leann, Nicholas, Emily, Katelyn, Benjamin Stanoch, Kayla, Drew, Grant, Brayden Kierzek, Taylor and Tanner Notsch.
