SCAGLIONE, Charlotte Marthe Terrisse, of Tampa, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grand mother passed away July 6, 2005, in her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Paris, France, October 2, 1922, she survived the trauma of occupied France and married Peter N. Scaglione October 20, 1945, at the end of World War II. Charlotte, co-owner of the popular University Restaurant, will be remembered for her generous spirit and caring ways.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Peter Scaglione; daughter, Julie Tomlin, and her husband, Jody; son, Peter Scaglione Jr., and his wife, Janet; grandchildren, Jim Stephens, Angela Turnage, Leah Kline, Gabrielle Campbell, Rock Scaglione and Laura Scaglione; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Marcel Terrisse of Paris. The family will host a celebration of life 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the funeral home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave. A funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul Catholic Church 2 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2005, with interment following the ceremony.
