Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre for Michael Fuchs who died peacefully Thursday at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose. Rev. James Statz will officiate with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Survivors include five children, Werner (Arlene) Fuchs and Virgil (Jane) Fuchs, all of Belgrade, Anna Mae (Joseph) Prom of St. Joseph, Joan (Walter Musty) Bondhus of Monticello, Karen (Eugene) Wiechmann of Freeport; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Mary Middendorf of St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Gertrude (Wymann) Fuchs; wife, Anna (Raeker) Fuchs on November 22, 1990; two grandsons, Gregory Prom and Thomas Fuchs; brothers, Matt and John Fuchs; sister, Ann Wurst.
