Miss Mary Beck and Joseph A. Primus of this city were quietly married at St. Cloud last Saturday, thereby surprising many of their Melrose friend . Shortly after the ceremony the newly wedded couple boarded a train and went to the Twin Cities, returning to Melrose Tuesday evening.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Beck and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Primus. Both bride and groom are well known here and have a host of friends who extend them happy congratulations. Joseph A. Primus is the proprietor of the City Dray Line and enjoys a good business. The couple will occupy a suite of rooms over the Borgerding State Bank and will be at home to their friends by the end of next week.
