Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose for Dolores Imdieke who died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Dolores Imdieke was born November 15, 1923 to John and Mary (Wiebolt) Enneking in Melrose where she grew up and attended school. After graduating from Melrose High School, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Melrose Ford Motor Company. She married Ervin Imdieke on April 24, 1945 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Melrose. In 1950, they moved to Fingal, ND where they owned and operated the Fingal Creamery until 1968 when they returned to Melrose. She worked as a bookkeeper for Kraft and MSI Insurance prior to retirement in 1985 and continued to be active in her church and community until her death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Pebby will be greatly missed by her loving family: son, Jack Imdieke (Ellen) of Wayne, NE, Sharon Maasjo (Brad) of Fargo, ND and Judy Gist (Reed) of Elk River; six grandchildren; one step grandchild; and one great grandchild.
Pebby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin Imdieke on November 14, 1997; one sister; and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose or American Heart Association.
