Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral for Louise A. Tillman, 82, who died Sunday at St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. St. Anne's Christian Women will pray with parish prayers at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud followed by St. Cloud VFW Granite Post 428 Auxiliary at 6:30.
Louise Tillman was born in Buckman to Joseph and Anna (Gassert) Brausen. She married Martin Tillman on Dec. 29, 1941, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Little Falls. She lived in Sauk Rapids from 1947 until moving to St. Cloud in 1965. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, St. Anne's Christian Women, St. Theresa's Mission Group, St. Cloud VFW Granite Post 428 Auxiliary, and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
Survivors include her daughter and sons, Joyce Hoppe of St. James, Robert of St. Cloud, and Martin of Indianapolis; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister and brother, Helen Haider of Los Angeles, and William of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her husband in January 1977; and sisters and brothers, Bertha Smith, Mary Schreifels, Ralph and Joseph.
