Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Melvin P. Brisse, 79, formerly of Richmond, who died Sunday at Hopkins Care Center.Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery.Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour before services Thursday at the church in Edina.Arrangements were made by Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel.Melvin Brisse was born in Richmond to John and Mary (Meyer) Brisse. He was a member of the Elks Club in Hopkins.Survivors include daughters and son, Pam Hochsprung and Jay of Brooklyn Park, Laurie Wolbart of Yorba Linda, Calif., and LizAnn Wills of Chanhassen; and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte.
