Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Seven Dolors Catholic Church for Mildred O. Boeckermann, 73, who died Friday at St. Cloud Hospital.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Brenny Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Albany.
Mildred Boeckermann was born in Paris, Ark., to John and Elizabeth (Eppt) Schmalz. She married Gilbert Boeckermann on April 8, 1947, in St. Paul. They farmed in the Grey Eagle area from 1951 until retiring in 1990 and moving to Albany. She was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou Meis of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Loretta Terrell of Taylorsville, Ky., Josephine Wewers of Mission, Kan., Leona Maxon of Paola, Kan., Julia Sharum of Fort Smith, Ark., Betty Gravenstein of Spring Hill, Kan., Norman, Charles, James and Larry of Kansas City, Kan., Robert of McLouth, Kan., and Simon of Raytown, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aug. 4, 1993; and sister and brother, Rose Hilos and Herman.
